Account & Data Deletion
Effective date: May 24, 2026
This page explains how to delete the data created by Nibble (package com.kstudio39.nibble) and, if applicable, the account associated with the Google Sign-In option.
Summary
- Most data is local. Your profile, diary, weight log, and custom foods live only on your device.
- Uninstalling the app removes that local data.
- If you signed in with Google, follow the steps below to also delete your account record on our side.
Option A — Delete local data only (no account)
If you have never signed in with Google, all your data is on your device. To delete it:
- Open Android Settings → Apps → Nibble → Storage.
- Tap Clear data (and optionally Clear cache) — this removes your local profile, diary, weight log and custom foods.
- Optionally, uninstall the app to remove everything.
Option B — Delete your account & all associated data
If you signed in with Google, you can request deletion of your account and any server-side records linked to your Google email.
Self-service in the app
- Open Nibble.
- Go to Profile → Account.
- Tap Delete account. Confirm. Your account record and any associated server-side data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
By email
If you cannot reach the in-app option, email us:
- To: contact@lifecraftlab.cc
- Subject: Account deletion request (Nibble)
- Body: the Google email used to sign in, and a brief confirmation that you want your account and data deleted.
We will verify the request, delete your data within 30 days and email you a confirmation. We may retain limited records solely as required by applicable law (e.g., financial or fraud-prevention records).
What is deleted vs. retained
When you request account deletion:
- Deleted: Google email, display name, photo URL associated with your account; any server-side preferences or sync records.
- Already not stored on our servers: diary entries, weight log, custom foods, profile inputs — those live on your device only.
- Retained briefly: minimal backup data may persist for up to 30 days in standard backups before being purged, and limited records may be retained where required by law.
Third-party data
Photos sent to the Gemini AI service are not stored by us. Their retention is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Advertising identifiers used by Google AdMob are controlled by you in Android Settings → Google → Ads, where you can reset the ID or opt out of personalised ads.
